Perimeter = 24cm Area =41.56cm^2

The perimeter of a hexagon is 6×S

perimeter = 6×4 = 24cm

The area of a hexagon is

(3 * √(3 ) * {x}^(2)) / 2

area =(3×1.73×4×4)/2

area= 41.56 cm^2

Answer: Perimeter = 24cm

Area = 41.56921938cm² (If the question requires you to round then do so)

Explanation:

To find the perimeter of a regular hexagon we use the formula
P=6swhere S is the length of one side.

P=6(4)

P=24

To find the area of a regular hexagon we use the formula
A=(3√(3) )/(2) s^(2) where S is the length of one side.

Or a simpler formula
A=(3)/(2) ×
√(3) ×
s^(2)

A=(3√(3) )/(2) 4^(2)

A=(3)/(2) ×
√(3) ×
4^(2)

A=41.56921938

If the question asks you to round the area to the nearest decimal place then do so

Rounded to the tenth place: 41.6

Rounded to the hundredths place: 41.57

Rounded to the thousandth place: 41.569
