a=1 b= 2 c=-40

b²-4ac =2²-4(1*-40)= 4+160=164

√Δ=2√41

(-b-√Δ)/2a =(-2-2√41)/2= 1-√41

(-b+√Δ)/2a =(-2+2√41)/2=-1+√41

x1=-1-√41

x2 = -1+√41
