Answer:

Explanation:

The slope-intercept form of a line is y=mx+b.

Plug in m=0:

y=0x+b

Simplify:

y=b

b is the y intercept, but a line w/a slope of 0 is just a horizontal line, so for every x value, it is at the same y value. Thus, the b value is just 7.

Substitute back in to y=b:

y=7

In order to grasp this better, we will write the point slope equation:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

Replace m with 0, y_1 with 7, and x_1 with -2.

y-7=0(x-(-2)

Solve as usual.

y-7=0(x + 2)

y - 7 = 0

y=7

Answer :

y = 7
