Select the correct answer. Which graph shows a line with a slope of 0? A. A line is graphed in an x y plane, where the x and the y axes range from negative 8 to 8 in increments of 1. The line falls through (negative 2, 6), (0, 0), and (2, negative 6). B. A line is graphed in an x y plane, where the x and the y axes range from negative 8 to 8 in increments of 1. The line rises through (negative 4, negative 7), (negative 0.5, 0), (0, 1), and (3, 7). C. A line is graphed in an x y plane, where the x and the y axes range from negative 8 to 8 in increments of 1. The line runs through (negative 2, 8), (negative 2, 0), and (negative 2, negative 8). D. A line is graphed in an x y plane, where the x and the y axes range from negative 8 to 8 in increments of 1. The line runs through (negative 8, 4), (0, 4), and (8, 4).

Answer: Graph D

Explanation:

To find our answer we need to use the Slope Formula in order to get see which graph has a slope of 0.

Slope Formula:
m=(y_(2)-y_(1) )/(x_(2) -x_(1) )

So we use two points and use the Slope Formula to find our slope to each graph

Graph A: Has a slope of -3

Graph B: Has a slope of 2

Graph C: The slope is undefined because it has a line that goes up and down

Graph D: Has a slope of 0

I provided a picture example of the points I used to get the slope of each graph but you can use any of the points for each slope and you'll get the same answer.
