Calculate the height with Pythagorean theorem:

h²=hypothenus ²- half_base ² = (2√3)²-(√3)²=4*3-3=9=3²

h=3

Area= √3*3/2 *2 =3√3

using formula side*side*sin(60°)/2 =(2√3)²*√3/2 / 2 =4*3√3/4=3√3
