Answer:

greatest length = 11x+12

2x width

A rectangular plot has an area of 2x(11x+12))m²=22x²+24x(m²)

length decreased by 2= 11x+12-2= 11x+10

width increased by 2 = 2x+2

new area = (2x+2)(11x+10)= 22x²+10x+22x+20=22x²+32x+20(m²)
