we're going to use the concept of direct proportions which states that x1/y1=x2/y2

here we have x1= 8.5m we have y1= 30.6 kg and we have x2=5m


(8.5m)/(30.6kg )=(5m)/(y_(2) )

then cross multpliy

8.5y=153

divide

=18 kg
