Answer:

Explanation:

This is an ugly binomial expansion, which you should try to remember

These are the coefficients for the power

1,2,1 for power two

1,3,3,1 for p=3

1,4,6,4,1 for p=4

1,5,10,10,5,1 for p=5

you should see a pattern here :)

1,8,28,56,70,56,28,8,1

In general the terms are ordered for the expansion of (a+b) that has the form

a^n(b^0)+a^(n-1)b^1+...a^0(b^n) since we have (y+1)^8 we wind up with

y^8+8y^7+28y^6+56y^5+70y^4+56y^3+28y^2+8y+1

Answer:

{y}^(8) + 8 {y}^(7) + 28 {y}^(6) + 56 {y}^(5) + 70 {y}^(4) + 56 {y}^(3) + 28 {y}^(2) + 8y + 1
