Answer:

(2f² - 5)(3f - 4)

Explanation:

If you’re asked to factorise a 4 term cubic and then it’s always useful to try factorising in parts before using methods to find roots:

Although it doesn’t always work, it does for this cubic by taking the hcf out of each half of the cubic:

2f²(3f - 4) - 5(3f - 4)

Which gives us an answer of (2f² - 5)(3f - 4)
