Answer: B) 24

Explanation:

There are 4 points to the star, which gives 4*2 = 8 edges on the front face.

There are also 8 edges on the back face. That's 8+8 = 16 edges so far.

Then we have 8 lateral edges that connect the front and back faces. That gives a total of 8+16 = 24 edges

Answer: B. 24

Explanation:

Edges are the line segments (edges) that join one vertex (point) to another vertex and are also where the shape's faces meet. I have attached a picture of us outlining these edges below (this drawing is not perfect and not all of the edges line up). Even though we can only see part of them, we have to ackoldwege that there are edges on the other side of this 3D shape too. This leads us to 24 edges.

If we don't want to count the edges, we can also use Euler's formula. E is the number of edges (lines), V is the number of vertices (points), and F is the number of faces (flat sides).

F + V = E + 2

(10) + (16) = E + 2

26 = E + 2

E = 24 edges
