Given a = 22, A = 39 degrees, and B = 88 degrees, use the Law of Sines to solve for b. Round your answer to the nearest tenth, and enter the number only. Note: The figure is not drawn to scale.

Answer:

b = 34.9

Explanation:

law of sine states that:

sin A/a = sinB/b = sinC/c

we are given sin A, a and sin B and told to solve for b

it becomes

sin 39/22 = sin 88/b

solve

b sin 39 = 22 sin 88

b = 22 sin 88 / sin 39

b = 34.937

round to nearest tenth

34.9
