× = 7 can be written as, 1.x + 0.y = 7 as the coefficient of x is 1 and that of y is 0.

Answer:

You can have:
(i)
2x=7+x
(ii)
x^2=7x

Explanation:

Given:
x=7

If we add
x in both RHS and LHS:

x + x=7+x

2x = 7+x

If we multiply with
x on both RHS and LHS:

x * x=7*x

x^2=7x

Reasons for why we can't divide or subtract:

If we subtract
x from both RHS and LHS:

x - x = 7-x

0 = 7-x

If we divide
x on both RHS and LHS:

(x)/(x) = (7)/(x)

1 = (7)/(x)

x=7

In both of these cases we do not have x on both LHS and RHS, and in the question we were asked to write an equation with x on both sides hence, we can't divide or subtract.

{
RHS == Right Hand Side}

{ LHS == Left Hand Side}

Thank You :)
