A card is drawn randomly from a pack of 52 cards and a dice is thrown once. determine the probability of not getting a card king as well as 6 on the dice give answer​

Number of non-king cards = Total number of cards - Number of kings

Number of non-king cards = 52 - 4 = 48

Probability of not getting a king = Number of non-king cards / Total number of cards

Probability of not getting a king = 48 / 52 = 12/13

A standard die has 6 faces numbered from 1 to 6.

Number of faces not 6 = Total number of faces - Number of 6

Number of faces no 6 = 6 - 1 = 5

Probability of not rolling a 6 = Number of non-6 faces / Total number of faces

Probability of not rolling a 6 = 5 / 6
