War Horse is written from the perspective of Joey, about his life as a military animal. Try to imagine you are Zoey, thinking from her perspective instead of Joey's. Answer: As I stand here, Joey, with Albert finally back from France, my heart feels heavy with mixed emotions. I'm undeniably glad to see Albert safe, but I can't help but remember the days when you were by my side, sharing each moment and laughter on the farm. Life has been far from easy in your absence, and I've missed you more than words can express.

Returning alone to the farm was tough, Joey. With you gone and rationed food, the days dragged on endlessly. I did my best to tend to the crops and the animals, but it never felt the same without you. The worries of war looming over our heads made everything seem uncertain and frightening. Seeing young men like Albert go off to fight only deepened my anxiety, as I knew the danger they faced.

But amidst all the hardships, I tried to hold on to hope, hoping that you and Albert would return safely. Now that you're both here, I feel a glimmer of relief, knowing that we can support each other once again. I can't wait to hear about your experiences, and I hope you'll understand mine too, as we share the burden of these trying times together.
