Components

Box: The box in the middle represents the interquartile range (IQR) of the data. It spans from the first quartile (Q1) to the third quartile (Q3). In other words, it covers the middle 50% of the data.

Median: Inside the box, there is a line or another symbol that represents the median of the data. The median is the value that separates the lower 50% of the dataset from the upper 50%.

Whiskers: The whiskers extend from the edges of the box and typically represent the minimum and maximum values within a certain range. There are different methods for determining the exact length of the whiskers, but they generally extend to a specific multiple of the IQR.

Outliers: Data points that lie beyond the whiskers are often considered outliers and are plotted as individual points. Outliers are values that significantly differ from the majority of the dataset and might be of special interest for further analysis.

Now we understand from the diagram that the data lies within the lower whisker of the box plot. The percentage of data that falls within the lower whisker, extending to the minimum value from the lower quartile is 25%.
