The answer is A. By using PEMDAS we start by subtracting 10 from both sides:
4x + 10 =30
- 10 -10
Leaving us with 4x = 20
Then to get X by itself we must divide by four: 4x = 20
/4 /4
Giving you X = 5 which is answer A

Answer: A. 5

Explanation:

We are given the following:
4x + 10 = 30.

In order to solve for X, we have to isolate it.

We would first subtract 10 on both sides leaving us with
4x=20.

Afterwards we would do 20/4x which promptly gives us our answer of
x=5

Let's Check Our Answer:

4(5)+10=30 Since our plugged in answer of 5 gives us 30, the answer is confirmed to be A. "5"
