I have a very easy way to answer these questions.

Simply divide the class by 2. So now we only have 16 students instead of 32.

Now divide 8, the number of increased boys by 2, to get 4.

Now subtract 4 from 16 and add 4 to 16.

So now we have 12 and 20.

So there are 20 boys and 12 girls.

Hello!

Answer:

\Large \boxed{\sf 20}

Explanation:

Let x be the number of girls.

number of girls =
\sf x

number of boys =
\sf x+8

number of learners =
\sf 32

So we have this equation:

\sf x + x+8 = 32

Let's solve this equation.

Simplify the left side:

\sf2x+8 = 32

Subtract 8 from both sides:

\sf2x+8-8 = 32-8

Simplify both sides:

\sf 2x = 24

Divide both sides by 2:

\sf (2x)/(2) = (24)/(2)

Simplify both sides:

\boxed{\sf x = 12}

So the number of girls is 12.

The numbers of boys =
\sf x + 8

Let's replace x by 12:

The numbers of boys =
\sf x+8 = 12 + 8 = \boxed{\sf 20}

So the number of boys is 20.

Check:

\sf 12 + 8 = 20

\sf 20 + 12 = 32

Check is good.
