For this 'bowl shaped' parabola , the vertex is the very bottom and represents a MINIMUM.

From the graph the vertex is at (3,1) and the axis of symmetry is the x value of the vertex x = 3

Domain is the 'x' values a graph can have and is -∞ to +∞

Range is the 'y' values a graph can have and is +1 to +∞

End behavior : as x goes to +- infinity the graph goes to + infinity
