Here is a suggested two paragraph response:

Developing daily habits of using French has been rewarding and challenging. Talking with Kelsey once a week in French helps me practice my speaking and listening skills. Reading articles from Le Monde exposes me to news in French and new vocabulary. Watching movies in French with subtitles helps my comprehension. It has taken discipline to keep up these habits consistently, butsticking with them has helped French become a part of my routine. I plan to keep practicing in these ways and hopefully find more opportunities to use French socially or during a study abroad trip in the future.

Knowing French will enrich my life for years to come in many ways. Academically, having proficiency in a second language shows colleges I have strong language skills that will help me in any field of study. Personally, speaking French allows me to connect with more people from various cultures. Socially, conversing in French may lead to new friendships and experiences I would not otherwise have. Professionally, speaking French could open up international career opportunities or allow meto better serve clients from francophone countries. Overall, becoming lifelong French learner will help me grow as a global citizen by broadening my perspectives and connecting me to a rich cultural heritage.
