v = u + at

v = final velocity
u = initial velocity
a = acceleration
t = time

Given:
u = +15 m/s
a = +1.2 m/s^2
t = 8.2 s

Plugging in the values:

v = 15 m/s + (1.2 m/s^2)(8.2 s)
v = 15 m/s + 9.84 m/s
v = 24.84 m/s

Solution:

The final velocity of the car is 24.84 m/s.
