A grocer purchased 80 kg of rice at Rs 90 per kg and sold at Rs 99 per kg. Find his profit

So we know that we bought 80kg of rice at 90 Rs each.

So he spent 90*80 = 7200 Rs on his rice.

He then sold that much rice at 99 Rs/Kg

So he made 99*80 = 7920 Rs

To find his profit, just subtract the 2 values.

7920-7200 = 720

Therfore, his profit was 720 Rs
