Answer:

1) The ability to exert a maximal force in as short a time as possible, as in accelerating, jumping and throwing implements. While strength is the maximal force you can apply against a load, power is proportional to the speed at which you can apply this maximal force. Broad jump test.

A example: While strength is the ability to exert force, power is the ability to exert force rapidly. For example, muscular strength is what it takes to push through a heavy set of barbell squats, and muscular power is the explosiveness it takes to jump up and dunk a basketball.
