Explanation:

The surface area can be described as the area of all the 2d figures within a 3d shape.

The surface area of a cylinder is


sa = 2\pi {r}^(2) + 2rh\pi

Here the radius is half of the diameter, so 8/2=4

The height is 11.


sa = 2\pi(4) {}^(2) + 2\pi(4)(11)


sa = 32\pi + 88\pi = 120\pi

The volume of a cylinder is


v = \pi {r}^(2) h


v = \pi(16)(11) = 176\pi
