Looking at the graph, we know the slope will be negative as it is going down

The y-intercept is where x is 0 so the b will be 8

Now use 2 points on the graph to calculate the slope using. m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Using points (0,8) and (1,6). m=(6-8)/(1-0)
m=-2

Now use these to create the equation I the form of y=mx+b

y=-2x+8
