Sure, here's a feature associated with each process in the water cycle:

1. Evaporation: Sun's heat (solar energy) causes water to evaporate from oceans, rivers, and other water bodies.

2. Condensation: Water vapor in the atmosphere cools down and turns into tiny water droplets, forming clouds.

3. Precipitation: Water droplets in clouds combine and become heavy enough to fall to the ground as rain, snow, sleet, or hail.

Surface Runoff

  • Surface Runoff refers to the water that flows through the ground and it's main source is precipitated rain, melted snow or other sources that cause the occurrence of water over the land surface.
  • Surface Runoff is the feature of water cycle which is related to all the other features or processes occur during the water cycle.
  • In water cycle, surface Runoff gets absorbed by the roots of the plants which eventually results in transpiration and it also gets evaporated resulting in formation of water vapours which get stimulated up and condenses resulting in precipitation and sometimes snowfall and then precipitated rain or snow eventually come to its natural state and the cycle continues.
