A Baker makes 20 loaves of bread each day.the loaves are either white or brown the ratio of white leaves to brown is always 6:4 after how many days would the bakes have made 240 loaves of brown bread

Explanation:

sum the parts of the ratio, 6 + 4 = 10 parts

divide the total amount of loaves by 10 to find the value of one part of the ratio.

20 loaves ÷ 10 = 2 loaves ← value of 1 part of the ratio, then

6 parts = 6 × 2 = 12 loaves ← number of white loaves made per day

4 parts = 4 × 2 = 8 ← number of brown loaves made per day

now divide 240 loaves by number of brown loaves made per day

240 ÷ 8 = 30

number of days to make 240 brown loaves is 30 days
