A little bit about me. When human beings experience trauma or severe life stressors, it Is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. My great passion is bringing healing to people who have been through a traumatic/stressful experience. I yearn to help individuals, who include children, adults and families, to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole and safe. I am a triplet, have moved from Florida and back to Michigan back and forth. I want to enter a law school, preferably here in Michigan at UofM. I want to become a attorney, for personal reasons which occurred when I was younger.

Answer:

As a triplet, I have always been fascinated by the unique dynamics of family relationships. Growing up, my siblings and I faced numerous challenges, and our family experienced moments of trauma and stress. During those difficult times, I witnessed firsthand the powerful effects that a compassionate and understanding support system can have on healing and growth.

My great passion in life is to bring healing to people who have endured traumatic or stressful experiences. I have seen the transformative power of counseling and advocacy, and I yearn to help individuals, whether they are children, adults, or families, find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships. My goal is to empower them to embrace their journey towards feeling peaceful, complete, whole, and safe.

Throughout my life, I have moved back and forth between Florida and Michigan due to various family circumstances. Despite the challenges that come with such frequent relocations, I have learned to adapt and embrace change, developing resilience and determination along the way. These experiences have fueled my desire to make a difference in the lives of others who may also be navigating through uncertain times.

I firmly believe that pursuing a career in law will provide me with the platform to advocate for those who are facing legal challenges resulting from traumatic experiences. I want to attend law school, preferably here in Michigan at UofM, where I can receive a high-quality education and be a part of a supportive community.

Becoming an attorney is not just a career choice for me; it is a personal calling that stems from events that shaped my life when I was younger. I want to use my knowledge, skills, and empathy to be a voice for those who may feel unheard, to offer legal guidance to those who are struggling, and to be a pillar of strength for those who are seeking justice and healing.

Winning this scholarship would be a tremendous blessing and would significantly impact my journey towards achieving my dreams. It would alleviate financial burdens, allowing me to focus wholeheartedly on my studies and extracurricular activities.
