A car lot has 10 blue, 20 black, 18 white, and 12 red cars. The keys are all in a box in the sales office.

If a car is selected by taking a key at random, what is the probability that the selected car is not blue?

is 5/6

to work this out first we have to add up how many cars are there so you have to do 10+20+18+12=60

so we know our answer is going to be out of 60 because its a probability and the question is asking whats the chance of not picking a blue so so there a 10 blue cars so 60-10=50 so its going to be 50/60 but you have to simplify it which would be 5/6

Hope it helped! Have a good day
