To move a client up in bed alone all these conditions should be met except?

A client should be smaller than me
B client should be asleep
C client should be predictable and able to follow directions
D client should be able to help in some way

They should be predictable and able to follow directions so that you can coordinate your movements. And they should be able to help in some way, even if it is just by lifting their head or shoulders.

However, it is not safe to move a client who is asleep. If they are not aware of what is happening, they may not be able to brace themselves and could be injured. It is always best to wake a client up before moving them
