Given to us that:–

  • 2x = 12

To find:–

  • Value of y = ??

By solving in terms of the x ,

\bf{2x = 12}

\bf{x=6}

Now that we know the value of x, We will move on to find y in the expression
\bf{4x - 3y } :

\bf{4(6) - 3y}

\bf{24 - 3y}

Note:–

  • this can't be simplified further since 24 and - 3 y are not like terms

Henceforth, Value of x = 6; value of y = 24 - 3y .
