Explanation:

We can see that we have 2 points already marked, (-2,-1) and (2, -4).

To find the slope, it's:


(rise)/(run) with rise being the units up/down, and run being the units left/right.

Start at point (-2, -1), and count the units going down (in red), and the units going to the right (in yellow), until we come across point (2,-4). We can see that we go down 3 units, and to the right 4 units, giving us a fraction of -3/4.

So, the slope is
(-3)/(4).
