What is the solution to
-10 = 5(2x – 4)

Answer:

3=x

Explanation:

multiply 5 times 2x and 4 which is 10x-20

then you have -10=10x-20

then add 20 to both aides and you'll have

30=10x then divide by 10 to get x alone

and you have

3=x
