Could people please help me answer the simultaneous equation with the steps on how to do it please…

2m + 4p = -18
2m - 4p = -30

p = 3/2 or 1.5

m= -12

Explanation:

label 2m+4p= -18 as eqn 1

label 2m-4p= - 30 as eqn 2

By looking at both eqns,

eqn 1 should minus eqn 2

so it will be....

2m-2m +4p - (- 4p)= -18 - (- 30)

8p= 12

p = 3/2 or 1.5

To find M sun p= 1.5 into any eqn.

e.g 2m+ 4( 1.5) = -18

2m= -24

m= -12
