Answer:

The answer has to do with how your body regulates its temperature and blood flow when you exercise or feel cold.

When you exercise, your body temperature increases and carries the blood towards the skin’s surface, causing one to sweat and cool off. This natural body mechanism can lead to a flushed, red face, which can be especially more noticeable in fair-skinned individuals.

Your face may look pale when feeling cold because of the reduced blood flow to your skin. When you are exposed to low temperatures, your body tries to conserve heat by constricting the small arteries in your skin, which reduces the amount of blood reaching the surface. This makes your skin appear lighter than usual.
