The answer is 10 m/s^2
To solve, use the equation,
F=M(mass) x A(acceleration)
But first change g to kg by dividing 500 by 1000= 0.5 kg
Now rearrange the formula to A=F x A
Plug in the numbers,
A= 5N/ 0.5 kg
=10 m/s^2
