Answer:

Explanation:

Mean = (22+30+26+39+40+35) / 6

= 32.

Arranging in ascending order:

22 26 30 35 39 40

The median = (30+35)/2 = 32.5.

There is NO Mode.

Standard deviation:

Deviations from mean:

22 - 32 = -10

26 - 32 = -6

39 - 32 = -2

35 - 32 = 3

39 - 32 = 7

40 - 32 = 8

Squares of the deviation = 100, 36, 4, 9, 49 and 64.

The sum of these deviations = 262

It is sample data so:

Square of standard deviation =

sum of deviations / (number of values - 1)

= 262 / (N - 1)

= 262/5

= 52.4

So Std Dev = √52.4 = 7.24 to nearest hundredth.
