Answer:

x + 3y = 18

Explanation:

We know two points (0,6) and (18,0)

The slope is the change in y over the change in x

(0-6)/(18-0) =
(-6)/(18) =
(-1)/(3)

The equation in the slope intercept form is

y =
(-1)/(3) x + 6 Multiply all the way through by 3

3y = -x + 18 Add x to both sides

x + 3y = 18
