First, we want to solve the top figure, which it has dimensions of 6 length and 3 width. Multiply these together, that will get you 18 m^2. Now, find the second figure, it has length of 2 and a width of 2. Multiply them together will get you 2 m^2

Now, finally, add them up together…

18+4=22

22 m^2 is your answer…
