The difference between renewable and non renewable resources are,

renewable resources are those that can be replenished naturally within a short period of time .

Example: solar energy, wind power, biomass.

non renewable resources are those resources that are limited in quantity. These resources are formed over millions of years through geological process.

Exmaple: fossil fuels, minerals, precious metals like gold and silver.
