2x + 5y = 26
3x - 7y = 19
We multiply the first equation by 3 and the second by 2:
6x + 15y = 78
6x - 14y = 38
Subtract:
0 + 29y = 40
Y = 40/29
= 1.379

Now. Substitute for y in the second equation :
3x - 7*1.379 = 19
3x =
= 28.653
X = 9.551
