To find the slope use the formula (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

Make (0,7) point 2 and (3,0) point 1

(7 - 0)/(0 - 3) = 7/-3

The slope of the line is 7/-3

Answer:

⇝ m = -7/3

In-depth explanation:

Hi there, to find the slope, use the formula:

\mathsf{m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)}

Where:

  • m = slope

Plug in the data:

  • \sf{m=(0-7)/(3-0)}

  • \sf{m=(-7)/(3)}

  • \sf{m=-(7)/(3)}

\bullet\quad\textsf{Therefore, the slope is m= -7/3}
