The way that I like to do this is how they do this in Korea. You start with all 3 numbers and you look for a number that is a factor for all three numbers. In this case, 2 is a factor of all three numbers, you divide the numbers by 2 and start all over. You keep going until the only factor the 3 numbers share is 1. Then you multiply all the numbers together that you divided by and the remaining factors and that gives you your LCM.
