Answer:

Prompt: How can everyday people become heroes when they are called to action?

\bold{Essay:}

Everyday people can become heroes when they are called to action by doing the following:

  • Empathize with others. Heroes are able to put themselves in the shoes of others and understand what they are going through. This allows them to see the need for action and to act accordingly.
  • Be courageous. Heroes are not afraid to take risks or to put themselves in danger to help others. They are willing to face their fears and to do what is right, even if it means putting their own lives on the line.
  • Be prepared. Heroes are often prepared for the unexpected. They have the skills and knowledge necessary to deal with difficult situations. They are also able to think quickly and make decisions under pressure.
  • Be willing to sacrifice. Heroes are often willing to sacrifice their own needs and wants for the sake of others. They are willing to put the needs of others before their own, even if it means making personal sacrifices.

There are many examples of everyday people who have become heroes by doing these things.

For example, Chiune Sugihara was a Japanese diplomat who issued thousands of life-saving visas to Jewish refugees during World War II. He was willing to risk his own career and his own life to help others, and he is considered a hero for his actions.
