Which term of the AP 3, 14, 25,....... will be 99 more than 25th term ?

  • the common difference is d = 11.

It gives us the nth term formula:

  • a(n) = a + (n - 1)d
  • a(n) = 3 + (n - 1)*11

The 25th term is:

  • a(25) = 11*25 - 8
  • a(25) = 267

The term 99 more than 25th term is:

  • a(n) = 99 + 267
  • a(n) = 366

Find the value of n:
