sum of first 24 terms: 900

Explanation:

a_n = a_1 + d(n - 1)

a_24 = 3 + 3(24 - 1)

a_24 = 3 + 69

a_24 = 72

S_n = n(a_1 + a_n)/2

S_24 = 24(3 + 72)/2

S_24 = 900
