Answer:

the height is 15

Explanation:

(1)/(3)b^2h is the formula to finding the volume of a pyramid

v = volume

v =
(1)/(3)(40)^2h

volume = 8000

8000=(1)/(3)(1600)h

Multiply
(1)/(3) by 1600

8000=(1600)/(3)h

Multiply both sides by 3

24000=1600h

Divide both sides by 1600

h=(24000)/(1600)

h=15

the height of the square pyramid is 15
