The Width of the Garden is
(5)/(2) feet.

The equation for the total area of a rectangular garden = l × b

The total area of the Garden =
(20)/(3) sq. feet

Length of the Garden =
(8)/(3) feet

Width of the Garden = Area ÷ Length

=
(20)/(3) ÷
(8)/(3)

⇒ division of
(8)/(3) is equal to multiplication of
(3)/(8),

(20)/(3) ×
(3)/(8)

⇒ canceling both three on both sides to give

(20)/(8)

=
(5)/(2) feet

∴ The Width of the Garden =
(5)/(2) feet
