There could be several reasons why none of the sons were able to fulfill their father's wish of growing the seeds into plants. Here are a few possible explanations:

1. Lack of knowledge: It's possible that the sons did not have the necessary knowledge or experience in gardening or plant care to successfully grow the seeds into plants. Growing plants requires understanding factors like soil quality, sunlight, water requirements, and pest control.

2. Poor seed quality: If the seeds provided by the father were of poor quality or had low viability, it would have been difficult for the sons to successfully grow them into healthy plants. In such cases, the seeds may fail to germinate or produce weak and stunted plants.

3. Inadequate care: Growing plants requires regular care and attention. If the sons did not properly care for the seeds by providing sufficient water, sunlight, and nutrients, it could have resulted in the failure to grow the plants.

4. Adverse conditions: Environmental factors such as extreme temperatures, inadequate light, or unsuitable soil conditions could have hindered the growth of the seeds. If the sons did not take these factors into consideration or were unable to provide suitable growing conditions, the plants may not have thrived.

To determine the exact reason, it would be helpful to gather more information about the specific circumstances, including the current state of the seeds and the conditions under which they were grown.
