Do you mean, 2x?

Anyways, if you were evaluating the function, h(x)=12+2x

You would first plug in x=-5 to the following function…

h(-5)=12+2(-5)

Simplifying this would get you,

h(-5)=12-10=2

So, the answer to the following question would be…

h(-5)=2

I hope this helps
