Answer:

Here, x=150 and y=95

Step-by-step explanation:

here, x+y+150= 360

as the sum of all the angles compiles to 360

x+y=245

x=245-y ....(i)

interior angles of parallel lines are supplementary,

i.e, the sum of the angles should be 180

therefore, a+115=180 refer to the attached image for supposed a and b angles.

a=65

85+a+b= 180 (sum of angles of an straight line is 180)

b=30

b and x are supplementary angles,

so, x+b=180

30+x=180

x=150

putting value of x in eqn (i)

we get,

150=245-y

y=95

Answer:

x = 150 degrees

y = 95 degrees

Explanation:

We note that x + y + 115 = 360

x + y = 360 - 115

x + y = 245

Also, we see that 85 + y = 180

(since the lines are the same which we discern from the arrows)

so, y = 180 - 85

y = 95

So,

x + 95 = 245

x = 245 - 95

x = 150
